• Subcontracting services for general contractors

2. Estimates and Quotes

Estimates provided by Pacific West Construction are preliminary assessments based on available information. Final pricing may vary based on:

• Discovery of unforeseen conditions during construction
• Changes to project scope requested by the client
• Material price fluctuations
• Building code or permit requirement changes

All changes to pricing will be communicated in writing via change orders before work proceeds.

3. Contracts and Agreements

All construction work requires a signed contract. The contract will include:

• Detailed scope of work
• Project timeline and milestones
• Payment schedule and terms
• Warranty information
• Terms for changes and modifications

4. Payment Terms

• Deposits may be required to secure project scheduling
• Progress payments are due at agreed-upon milestones
• Final payment is due upon project completion and client approval
• Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by law
• We reserve the right to pause work for non-payment

5. Project Timeline

We strive to complete projects on schedule. However, timelines may be affected by:

We will communicate any timeline changes promptly and work to minimize delays.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing access to the work site during scheduled hours
• Securing pets and removing valuables from work areas
• Making timely decisions on materials and design selections
• Maintaining homeowner's insurance during construction
• Providing accurate information about existing conditions

7. Warranty

8. Limitation of Liability

Pacific West Construction's liability is limited to the contract value of the specific project. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• Delays beyond our reasonable control
• Pre-existing conditions not disclosed during planning
• Damage caused by third parties or acts of nature

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in King County, Washington, before pursuing litigation.
